Debauwi Catfish African Glass Catfish 5.1cm
Debauwi Catfish African Glass Catfish 5.1cm
The Debauwi Catfish, also known as the African Glass Catfish (Pareutropius debauwi), is a hardy and peaceful schooling fish native to the tributaries of the Congo River. Distinctive for its translucent body accented by a prominent black lateral stripe, this species forms an undulating school that brings natural movement to the lower levels of a community aquarium.
Naturally shy, these catfish thrive best when kept in groups where they feel secure and display their best schooling behavior. They adapt readily to home aquariums, feeding eagerly on standard community flakes and pellet foods while reaching an adult length of approximately 10.2 cm.
