Zig Zag Eel (Macrognathus Aculeatus)
Zig Zag Eel (Macrognathus Aculeatus)
The Zig Zag Eel is a peaceful freshwater species that makes a fascinating addition to planted and community aquariums. Originating from Indonesia, these gentle creatures appreciate an environment with plenty of hiding spots to feel safe and secure.
They thrive on a diet of live and frozen foods and cohabitate well with peaceful community fish like platies and tetras. Due to their predatory nature toward tiny invertebrates, avoid housing them with very small creatures such as dwarf shrimp.
