Bandit Cory (Corydoras Metae)

The Bandit Cory is a peaceful freshwater catfish distinguished by its striking black mask marking across the eyes. Native to slow-moving Amazonian tributaries in Peru and Colombia, these charming bottom-dwellers thrive in peaceful community aquariums.

Known for their schooling behavior, they actively sift through sand or fine gravel with their sensitive barbels searching for food. They adapt easily to varied diets including flakes, frozen foods, and live fare, making them an ideal and hardy addition to freshwater tanks.
